AI-powered plan reading for the railway data factory
Since 2018, Modulopi — a “railway data factory” and the first digital MOE (Management of Operations) in the railway sector — has been supporting infrastructure managers in studying, evolving, and implementing future infrastructure through business tools that simplify, secure, and automate data production.
Modulopi engaged us to co-develop their internal ERP — HR management, production tracking, and a business knowledge base — and more specifically an AI-powered plan reading application that automatically collects graphical elements to include them in the client’s asset databases. The detection is driven by an algorithm for shape, trace, and intersection recognition, linked to the business knowledge base to distinguish and connect structured elements.
